While many students enrol full time at Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood (SCCC), some courses are also offered as a one block session per week so students from other schools can attend part-time as external students.

Students who wish to attend these courses in 2021 will be required to complete an EVET Expression of Interest form and discuss with their VET coordinator at their home school. Once you receive permission from your school, you can apply for a course here

Preliminary and HSC Courses
From 2021 Southern Cross will be introducing new Year 11 (Stage 6) Certificate II and III courses:
- Baking
- Community Dance, Theatre and Events
- Education Support
- Health (Allied Health)
In addition, Southern Cross will also be introducing the following Yr 9 and 10 (Stage 5) Certificate I courses in:
- Automotive
- Business
- Construction
- Hospitality
- Retail
All students are inducted into the college during the first week of classes.
As well as the VET courses offered here at the college to students from other schools, SCCC students have the option of undertaking EVET study in courses offered by other trade training/skills centres, TAFE NSW and other providers.
