Lucy Eaton
Teacher: Dance, Musical Theatre
Lucy has accumulated a unique collection of education and industry-based experiences. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Dance Education from ACPE, she has worked as a travelling HSC Dance Teacher for the Karabar Distance Education Centre, as a Specialist Dance Teacher for the Parramatta Diocese and most recently as the Stage 5 and 6 Dance Teacher and Acting Performing Arts Coordinator at Bethany College.
Lucy has led a number of professional development and workshop events such as the Arts and Gifted Education Newman PL and the CaSPA HSC Holiday Masterclasses, sharing her passion for artistry and athleticism in Dance Education. Alongside her current role at Southern Cross Catholic College, Lucy teaches Contemporary dance at McDonald College and Progressing Ballet and Contemporary technique at Pymble Ladies’ College. Owner of pre-professional dance company, Dance Dr., she has enjoyed the privilege of choreographing full-length works for the company since 2013 and actively engaging in the diverse network of professional dance.
Lucy is currently studying a Master of Arts in Education (Dance Teaching) through the Royal Academy of Dance and is the Ambassador for the RAD Faculty of Education. This year Lucy joins the Performing Arts and Creative Industries team at Southern Cross Catholic College.
