Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood (SCCC) continues to re-imagine the framework of schooling by rethinking the space, time and the model for learning, allowing students to choose when, what and how they learn.
The model involves the realignment of teaching staff schedules to ensure that there is increased availability to students for personalised learning.
All learning operates in a blended learning environment with coursework made available through the learning management system, complemented by opportunities for one-to-one or small group interaction with learning facilitators.
The students success project (SSP) allows students to work with their student success leader (SSL) and learning facilitators to set their own individual pace for learning, which allows for continuous progress and opportunities to master concepts and move through coursework at their own pace.
The recently added grade guardian feature also helps the student success leader identify when learning interventions are required to support future student learning.

COVID‑19 Response to Remote Learning
